Have you ever been stuck on what to decide? To either join someone in order to avoid getting hurt, or to go against someone? Maybe you're torn between two sides and can't pick between the two. Well then, Rick Rordian's, "The Blood of Olympus" is the right book for you! "The Blood of Olympus" tells the tale about a bunch of modern-day teens who are the children of the greek gods, and are tasked with the mission of saving the world. Each of the teens though, has a problem. They all have quite a past, and can't escape it and throughout the story, they have to make certain choices that decide not only their own fates, but the fates of others as well. This fantasy story teaches you more than what to do when a monster attacks you, it shows you how these teens dealt with their pasts, what decisions they made, and the outcome of their choices. So be prepared reader, because you're in for quite the ride!
The Blood of Olympus can teach teens about making tough decisions in life and how to deal with their problems. Many of the main characters in the book have suffered from many problems. One boy is dyslexic and gets in trouble in school a lot, another boy has lost his memory and has no where else to go. One girl has been accused for stealing things even though she's innocent, as well as a girl who has been rejected by her family and cast out of the house. The book tells the story the story from each of the teens perspective. It talks about their life stories, how they deal with their problems, and what they do afterward. Many times throughout the story, the characters must make tough decisions that will decide their destiny and whether or not they get to live as well as whether or not others get to live (as said before). Many teens in life have gotten into arguments with their families, lost relatives, and have faced with tough decisions before, and this book can show them how to pull through that they should always do the right thing.
Blood of Olympus addresses friendship. Many times, the main characters' friendships are tested, but no matter what, they always make it through whatever task they've been. This book shows how the main characters work together to defeat powerful monsters, and unite mortal enemies. This relates to real life because it shows teens, that no matter what, friends are always there for you, and that by working together, anything is possible.
In conclusion, I think that "The Blood of Olympus" by Rick Rordrian is a wonderful book for teens to read and that it can teach them many valuable life lessons.
I really like how you introduce the book and then get into your idea
